Bio-Techne

Bio-techne is a medical device and software company experiencing rapid growth through the integration of several device brands under one consolidated presence without losing equity of each Individual brand-scape and identity. Featuring the value of workflow solutions made possible through an integrated systems was also critical to enable with specific workflow solutions for each vertical market. The inherent scalability and graphic flexibility demanded  by each market and exhibit space in the program was also a major criteria.

Working in the abstract, a visual metaphor of a coil holding a series of elements was developed. The coils properties of movement as an infinite measure of scientific innovation represents a conduit of progress and the elements inside representing individual instrument brands made stronger through the purveyance of Bio-techne as a whole.

Featuring the value of workflow and the combination of various instruments and software was managed in a linear fashion with a physical laboratory and a billboard style LED matrix capable of large over-arching messaging as well as individual sectioning for targeted support visuals.

The coils natural ability to provide a sense of continuity works perfectly when it comes To scalability and keeping the brand presence consistent and impactful. Use of fabric printing and significant LED color accents provides a “dial-in” capacity to leveragedifferent looks from show to show without losing core brand presence.

 Digital integration of both lighting and content was carefully thought-out to provide flexibility in both broad and narrow messaging channels along with a unique large-format touch screen interactive “virtual lab” was developed to provide an autorama -like view into the future allowing Bio-techne to leverage workflow concepts in development.
