Tandem Diabetes

Tandem Diabetes, a medical device manufacturer for diabetes treatment, needed to debut their new branding with a custom exhibit design that they could reuse throughout their domestic and international trade show program.

It was crucial for us to carry over their new look and feel, and visually represent their new branding vocabulary around the movement and mobility their new insulin pumping system provides. 

Born through an organic abstract interpretation, the exhibit is foremost a sculptural representation of the brand using a balance of volume, line and plane.

We created an environment that provides a mutual space that you can see through, be seen in and interact with other people. Three zones of engagement were created to enhance the product story:
light, interactive touchscreen kiosks placed at the aisle of the booth, in-depth product demonstrations positioned towards the inside of the space, and a mannequin for contextual product placement. Simultaneously this approach segments the space and creates a truly unique, undeniably Tandem brand experience.

The result was a synergistic project where we were able to maximize trust and collaborate heavily with the brand marketing team and the originators of this new messaging and product, for a unique set of properties that stand out in the marketspace in both the US and Europe.
